My Fragrance Journey

My earliest recollection of enjoying fragrances takes me back to the 8th grade. Guys at school would raid their fathers cologne collection and bring the bottles to school. The first cologne I can remember trying in the 8th grade was Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche . It's actually one I don't currently own, but most certainly on my list to purchase in the immediate future.

High School was primarily made up of three scents. Grade 9 was all about Calvin Klein Obsession. I can remember going to the Scarborough Town Center to visit a department store in hopes to spray my jacket with this gem.

Later on Cool Water the go to scent. Seemed like everyone was wearing this then. This was actually a scent that really launched me back into purchasing colognes. I was looking online just reading up about these cologne blasts from the past. I was able to find a 125 ml tester of Cool Water very reasonably priced. This sent me down a rabbit hole of searching for all the scents I could remember from years gone by.

Another favorite of the High School years was CK One. It seemed that this scent changed the game, both guys and girls could wear this. I remember my friend Maria working at the Bay during these years.  She purchased me a 200 ml bottle of CK One for $70 Canadian.

Cologne takes me back to times gone by, cologne reminds me of special people who are no longer in my life.

I wanted to dedicate a page to share my collection, memories, and simply put help me track my collection.
